The Vaðlahof

Vaðlahof is a beautiful summer house in Vaðlaheiði opposite Akureyri with great views of the poll, Akureyri and Hlíðarfjall, also in and out fjords. The house is located in the same area as Vaðlaborgir, about 5 km east of Akureyri. The house is 120 sqm, bright and beautiful on two floors plus a sleeping loft.

On the main floor there is a hall, a bathroom with shower, two double beds, a kitchen and a living room. Out of the living room is a large and good platform with garden furniture and barbecue.

The sleeping loft has four 90 cm wide beds.
On the ground floor there is a hot tub, a toilet, two bedrooms and showers. The bedrooms below are each with two 90 cm wide beds.
It is not interposed between floors.
Guest facilities and tableware is for 12 people in the house.
You can purchase cleaning for 18,000 kr(140 euro).
Minimum rental time is two nights.
Rules of conduct.
The tenant must have reached the age of 20, The tenant must stay in the house.
The house is rented with furniture and kitchen equipment.The tenant is responsible for all the equipment in the house during the rental period and undertakes to compensate for damage caused by his/her guests or those staying in the house during the rental period.The tenant is responsible for the houses and environments around the house.The tenant will make sure each item is in place when he leaves.The tenanTenants must respect the rules that apply to arrival and departure time. Arrival time at the house is at 17:00 at the start of the vacation stay and departure is at 12:00 on the day of departure.
Tenants needs to bring towels, soaps, and linen. You can rent a linen for 2,000 kr(15 euro) per person.If guests rent linen leave it at the front door at the end of the stay.The tenants are asked to avoid noise by car traffic in the holiday home area.The tenant must take care not to spoil any vegetation or land in any way.Please read the instructions and rules attached to the walls in the houses and must be followed.Note that smoking is completely unauthorized in the house. (In case of violation of this rule, the tenant must pay a cleaning fee of 18,000kr/140 euro)

Cleaning guidelines
The tenant must clean the house well upon departure.
Thoroughly clean the shower, toilet, washbasin and around it.
Wipe of tables, benches and shelves.
Vacuum the floors and wash them.
Wipe the windows, mirrors and dust from the windowsill should be cleaned.
Clean the refrigerator inside and outside.
Clean the stove top and oven.Clean the microwave.Clean the bbq grill. The tenant shall ensure that the dishwasher is empty at departure.

If we the owners are not comfortable with the clening at your departure, the tenant will be charged a cleaning fee. (18.000kr/140euor)
